Over 240 artists showcased more than 100,000 works of art at the 66th Annual Mystic Outdoor Art Festival on August 10–11, 2024. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Mystic River and Mystic Seaport, the two-day event drew thousands of visitors to experience diverse artistic expressions across numerous mediums and crafts.
The festival jury, in partnership with the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, presented awards to exceptional artists during a special breakfast ceremony at Mystic River Park on Sunday morning. Annie Sessler from Montauk, NY, received the prestigious Best in Show award, sponsored by the Arling Family, for her compelling artwork that resonated with both judges and festival attendees.
